The Popcorn Story

When I was in first grade, Fridays were a special day.  During school, each child would receive a small bag of popcorn (thus the name) while we watched an entertaining, but educational, movie. We learned how baseballs and pencils were made, and dreamed about our futures, through watching films.

Later, in college, I worked a summer at Walt Disney World. There, I discovered how much I love this edutainment style of learning at my favorite theme park in whole world, EPCOT. I was fascinated by how much I could learn while being entertained through music, video, events, and attractions.

After college, I worked in Chicago, Phoenix, and Hollywood where I learned how to make television shows and movies, but still really wanted to write and produce my own shows.  Shows with a purpose. A mission to inspire, educate, and motivate young people! 

Flash forward to today.  I am the proud owner of a creative content company, Popcorn Media. Through our home studio, Small World Studios , we aim to create fun, engaging, family entertainment that we hope will have a positive impact on the lives of young people around the world.
